Giose, by yr post, you seem to perhaps have limited knowledge of the oil/gas industry and particularly pipeline technology and engineering. Not that many people are experienced in overseas pipeline construction admittedly.
In the webinar, it was said the existing pipeline is old and not suitable for our use.
If we find copious amounts of oil, trucking is not an option long term and a new pipeline would be needed. Its no big deal as we can follow the existing easement as stated. Sure it all has to be designed by pipeline engineers and constructed by professionals but its all doable, no problems.
If all goes well, I suspect we could well have a new pipeline carrying our oil to the oil refinery 50km away in less than 2 years.
