I beleive this is the biggest derisk from this announcement. It demonstrates with verifiable proof that:

- The "no news is bad news" stigma attached to AP announcments does not always hold true, and hopefully will be a thing of the past. ( know I was guilty of this)
- That once external forces such as lightning strikes etc are out of the way, May & Sonangal WILL accomplish what they set out to do and timely.
- and finally It reaffirms, against any doubt created by Zapato, that MAY's geological theory is sound and continuing to create a predictable, lower bound mapping of block 9, and the drilling and outcome that occured at ZP1 was purely geological chance (and incomplete) and not some political or strrategic decision.

I think these were the elephants in the room for a lot of people, when running a ruler over MAY.

So while the petroleum product is only slightly proofed, a few other doubts have been kicked.
