    Certainly adds a complication.
    I guess this new JV is only a minor game compared to the merger discussions.
    Maybe the Bayan opportunity arose and they could not justify walking away, it will stack up as a very good exploration play IMO.
    However it would all still need to be incorporated into any merger deal.

    Quarterly not far off. At minimum there should be a status update re the merger.
