Well written post but unfortunately you are wrong. ALB were unable to get Gina on board over the weekend and ALB financiers weren't willing to back ALB without Gina onboard (read my previous post in the media thread). Without being able to secure Gina's votes, no finance and therefore no deal. LTR only found out late Sunday evening.
LTR didn't flush Gina out. This deal was going ahead without Gina's involvement..
I think everyone will find Gina is looking after Gina. There will be no finance assistance from Gina and she will sit and watch. We execute well and she wins. We stuff it up and she swoops up the rest of our company for less. I don't like the situation and kicking myself for not acting on my instinct. But I don't have rose-coloured glasses on.
Great project. We are going to find out for sure now just how great management is.
Glad I got enough money off the table to secure my retirement but it is going to be painful watching the remainder of my holding drop and it will be a long crawl back. No "V-shaped" recovery imo. Hope I'm wrong on this one.
