Surely though a complete Albermarle takeover (> 90% with compulsory share acquisition) is highly unlikely because TG holds 15%?...so unless they can convince him to sell, it's never going to happen.
I don't think I have a good handle on the effect if ALB got to 51% though...so they get control of the board, and potentially sack the BOD if they wanted to. How would that affect LTR shareholders and dividends? Surely ALB are just like any other shareholder, just with a larger %
