I'm happy that someone has finally brought up the topic of AI in Alcidion products specifically in the use of early detection of cardiac events. It's taken me awhile to research why there isn't a huge uptake of this despite the benefits and it all comes down to cost of additional third-party systems.

For it to be achieved first the Hospital must have another parties hemodynamic system in place, of which there are two major players that hospital use, the very expensive and the expensive, both products are excellent, to have coverage on a 24 bed ward with hemodynamic installed at all 24 beds your looking at $1M +, additional costs can be added in for the hemodynamic network's which in themselves are complex, it's a closed circuit system by default so data isn't being transmitted to a third party for analysis, that requires additional software at additional cost, only then can you buy ALC's system to do the analysis.

If South Tee's was to run it on all 1000 beds i'm sure you could pick up quite a few heart attacks but all at a cost of $41,666,666 + Additional Costs + ALC contract, it's hard to justify.
