I previously said the risk-reward on ALC was very favorable when it was around 6 cents to 6.5 cents. At its current share price of low 5 cents - the potential payoff just got bigger bearing in mind that it is fairly derisked as you said.
Like you, I await notice of directors purchase. Nothing beats directors having skin in their own company.
