Some will be badly-burned newbies now swearing off all stocks like this (if not direct investment altogether). And the BL connection, albeit now defunct, hardly helps.
There's no way of anticipating or avoiding this kind of collateral accident, but at the end of the day it's just noise. The investment case for Alcidion hasn't changed one iota, which is why the technicals don't bother me. Although now slightly underwater, I still think I got into Alc at a very good price. If the price is now even 'better', that just gives me the option to top up in the bargain basement.
Alcidion will now go on to produce the commercial contracts we hope for and expect, or it won't. If it does, the sp will take care of itself and a sub-1c decline along the way will seem a very trivial setback. If it doesn't, we've simply backed the wrong horse.
