Hi All,
Today we announced Alcidion has been appointed as a supplier to NHSX’s £3 million Clinical Communications Procurement Framework – a new procurement vehicle that will support NHS trusts to phase out pagers by the end of next year.

Alcidion’s appointment to this framework allows NHS trusts to quickly and easily procure our Smartpage solution without the need for tendering. The framework has been established following an order from UK Health Secretary Matt Hancock for the removal of pagers from the NHS for non-emergency communications by the end of 2021.

This NHSX initiative is another example of the widespread digital transformation currently taking place across the NHS and the inclusion of Smartpage is an important validation in the UK of its secure communication and task management capabilities.

In today’s ASX announcement we have also outlined the significant recent success we’ve had with Smartpage with customers in ANZ, including ACT Health, Nelson Marlborough District Health Board, Counties Manukau District Health Board and Townsville Hospital and Health Service.
