Whether or not the price goes down is something else. This transaction could affect the opening price if people see this and act on it. But it won't necessary start off at 40, it'll depend on sentiment and liquidity. But yes it might lower the opening price, only if sellers agree with this price. Either way tomorrow morning we'll have the pre-open session and if we find out who bought or who sold it'll probably determine what people think of it.
