There are 2 types of informatics systems in the market for hospitals.

1 - Best of class for each area - i.e. pathology / paediatrics / admissions etc etc etc. These are called monolithic technologies as they do not talk to each other.

2 - An integratable technology

The biggest advantage with ALC is the fact that they have an integratable technology that sits on top of all the existing 'best in class' technologies & reports accordingly.

This way, the hospitals / doctors / experts that have invested million & countless hours lobbying / training / integrating the absolute best-in-class technologies for their respective fields DO NOT NEED to change.

The hospital embeds ALC's tech over the top of these systems & the API / SaaS within the tech ensures all systems talk to each other as they don't at the moment.

This is the competitive advantage - this is the edge.
