This contract is extremely significant for ALC as its first major contract outside the hospital system and shows how adaptable their systems are. The contract is within the defence sector and can adapted to other government areas very easily. This is just the beginning and with the super funds and Macquarie loading up its a good sign

Alcidion and consortium partners selected as preferred provider for Department
of Defence contract
• Alcidion, as part of a Consortium, has been selected as the preferred provider for a major
healthcare IT project to capture data and support clinical decision making across the
Australian Defence Force
• Alcidion will provide the Longitudinal Health Record via its Miya Precision product
• Potential value of contract to Alcidion of approximately $21M over 5.5 years
• Subject to final negotiations and Commonwealth funding approvals, final contracts expected
in calendar Q4 2021
Melbourne, Australia: Alcidion Group Limited (ASX:ALC) today advises that it is a member of the
consortium (the Consortium) selected as the preferred provider for an enterprise Healthcare
Knowledge Management (HKM) System for the Department of Defence of the Australian Government
(Defence).
Defence’s HKM project seeks to deliver a system that records, stores, aggregates and analyses health
information for the Defence population. The HKM will capture and manage health data and
information across Defence's healthcare continuum and will unify multidisciplinary primary and
occupational care, with emergency and hospital care in both garrison and deployed domains; enabling
better clinical decision making at the point of care to empower a true joint health effect.
The Consortium is led by a global IT and engineering consulting firm with clients across multiple
sectors in government, including Defence. It involves several other digital health partners, many of
them leading Australian digital health providers, to provide the full system requirements.
Alcidion will provide the Longitudinal Health Record via its Miya Precision product, aggregating the
data from Consortium partners and other systems in the Defence environment to support the HKM
solution.
