No one is "developing competing products to the same as or better quality than what ALC offer".
That is too hard and costly too bother, too much industry knowledge required to get these products to work they way the hospital staff want them too. Competitors have had years to come up with something and there is still... nothing.
So IMO, no. They wont "develop" anything.
But eventually one of the big fish will look to buy out what Alcidion has already created. In fact there are already eyes fixed on what Alcidion is doing within the industry.
