The timing of payments to MKM for the following project, which was awarded late last year (and announced by MKM in Feb) would be interesting to know.

I found some government docs that show contract negotiations were still in progress with the preferred product vendor (6 Oct 2017) with no planned implementation cost disclosed. Someone with more than a very rudimentary idea of the approximate costings for an implementation of this size (and also the % cut based on the role of MKM in the rollout) might like to weigh in with their informed opinion. The same doc also shows that the impending implementation of the Bendigo Hospital Electronic Medical Record to have a $15m contract value - the scale of which would be much smaller than for statewide EMPI where the records of all Victorians will be consolidated and accessible throughout the state’s public health system; and has been described as a "significant project (and) will form a core component of the state’s health infrastructure... The ambitious roll-out will connect up the health agencies throughout the state via a central source of truth. The local patient indexes from all Victorian health agencies will be connected into a central repository and details will be matched and managed centrally across the state."

Feb 2020 is the planned launch date.
