From our pov as investors, I think this is an important point. In the past, prolonged news droughts have taken a heavy toll on shareholder morale, but in future the gaps between meaningful anns are certain to be a lot shorter. We now own a far larger and more diverse business than we did a couple of days ago. This benefit to market sentiment will still apply even if the commercial synergies we hope to see released are slow in coming.
