Unfortunately, you can't really set aside the elephant in the room. It is wrong to do this.

This is because each and every company that cannot achieve ongoing sales ... will fail ! This is a fact of being in business.

There are many quite sad uses of the word IF...... for example : IF I was to find $1 Million in cash walking down the street I would be a Millionaire... Are the odds of this happening about the same as ABX successfully commercialising ALCORE ? IMHO..... Yes. It is a pipedream. Shareholders need to think about this very carefully, drawing on past experiences.

ABX simply needs to learn to walk before it can run. IT MUST LEARN TO SELL !

I am increasingly of the view that unless a small Australian company is truly competent in all key business facets, it will not survive in competition against large companies and overseas companies with cheaper production.

Unfortunately, this leads me to think ABX should test the market by putting itself up for sale to a large, successful company with Sales competencies (such as RIO as suggested by The Friar). Shareholders would at least get some sort of return this way, and at least our resource would get sold.
