A long time ago I have sold AJX and stated here that the Alexicool is a fad.
That was in response to an enthusiastic poster who suggested that Alexicool will replace an airconditioning in our houses, which was just too much for me.

I still hold the same negative view of the Alexicool for following reasons:

1) I like my bed to be warm, not cold.
2) Based on the latest report it can be finally estimated that cooling sensation will last about 2-4 minutes (100W body heat, 30% skinn contact).
3) If the ambient temperature is above the phase change temperature then there is no cooling effect.
AJX newer published the phase change temperature but to make it substantial, it would have to be below
30°C.
4) The report has compared untreated bedding with a treated bedding. This is misleading. Untreated bedding is not intended to be cooling, it should be warming.
