re: Ann: Algae.Tec Announces Biofuels Refiner... My story's a bit odd maybe Sadji. I didn't start out intending to invest in anything. Being a 35-yr old librarian with a mortgage, it's fair to say I'm not your typical investor :) I started researching what various technologies were being developed to deal with the carbon problem, simply because I was pretty bothered about it. It was an inspiring journey, bringing me from despair to optimism as I read of smart people doing pretty smart things all over the place, from chemistry to agriculture, you name it. Then it occurred to me, why not invest in one of these companies and hopefully make money, put my obsessive reading to some good use :) There are absolutely companies doing better things in terms of emissions reductions, but I just thought Algae Tec had huge potential. No matter how big solar gets I think companies will want an energy product they can keep selling - I think oil will keep going for a long while yet. It just will have to be greener oil.
