I am disappointed in this CR. However, the optimist in me is reminded of a famous Peter Lynch quote,
“Insiders might sell their shares for any number of reasons, but they buy them for only one: they think the price will rise."
The other quote from Lynch, which I think is pretty relevant is,
"The typical big winner in the Lynch portfolio generally takes three to ten years to play out."
My best investments have always taken a few to several years to fully play out. My time in ALK is about in the middle of Lynch's continuum. The fundamentals, the ones I can ascertain anyway, look as good if not better than ever so I still believe it will be a winner.
If I can find the cash I will probably hold my nose and buy my allotment.
