It is a rapidly changing space with lots of research going on. These new batteries, if actually functional in the real world, they will take quite a while to become mass produced. Also, there will always be batteries using Nickel, IMO, and combined with other uses, the demand will be there. These crazy prices might not be sustained ( I think this is certain as they caused by Putin the Knob Jockey) but our mine will always be economical, IMO.
