I like your idea that the sell-off is due to speculators who bought into the MYOB buy-out story and are now exiting their position. You may well be right - certainly seems plausible. I had not thought of that, cause I don't buy stocks based on rumours. But I am sure many people would and just jump on the bandwagon, without knowing too much about the Co. and it's fundamentals.
I have 1 gripe about your post though Mighty - you say 'unfortunately' re: the sell-off - I happen to think it's quite 'fortunate', as it's allowed me to decrease my av. PPS by 24% in the last 2 months!
