Does this Qantas deal have any implications for the deal AQZ is presumably still trying to negotiate with Virgin?
Adelaide to Alice Springs and Alice Springs to Darwin (and vv) were covered in the ACCC application and interim approval. If AQZ were going to operate code share services with Virgin on these routes, its a bit strange that they would be competing against Qantas also operating AQZ's E190's?
I would have though we might have had some announcement on the Virgin front by now - should we read anything into the on-going silence? Maybe we will get some clarification with the half year profit announcement next week.
