First thoughts :

We ( AKE holders ) will now have Tesla, GM and BMW as direct customers courtesy of the merger with Livent, so a positive. While AKE does have customers outside of China, they are opaque.

Exposure to Livent's DLE ( or what I would prefer to call semi-DLE as it still require some ponds ).

The Bécancour hydroxide plant will get feedstock from both James Bay and Nemaska ( assuming there will be excess capacity to process feedstock from both mines ).

We will be bigger than Ganfeng in ktpa LCE, ending up being 3rd largest lithium producer.

The RIO rumour from AFR may have had some truth into it after all that did not eventuate. This merger prevents a TO.

I would suggest this would flush RIO out if they wanted to bid, alternatively they could wait for the merger to complete and take out the combined entitiy.
