The barrier is data security. Place what value on it you will but a lot of parents especially in Australia will value it highly.
the fact it complies with EU data security laws is kind of a gimmick to be honest but many parents will probably like that functionality when looking st kids locations and activities.
as for margin, shall see. I think they make decent margins at 399aud per watch, but when you consider overhead and marketing; maybe not. That's an if I cannot answer.
