ALLOT: BIT: BIT - Replacement Issue of Equity
The issuer advises that the following replaces the Issue of Equity
announcement released on 17 December 2015. The number of ordinary shares in
issues was overstated by 50,000 shares which in turn overstated the total
number of voting rights.

ALLOTMENT OF SHARES
The Company announces the allotment on 17 December 2015 of 50,000 ordinary
shares of 25p each fully paid for cash at a price of 642.5p per share ("New
Shares"). The New Shares were issued for cash in order to meet investor
demand. The New Shares rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares.
Application is now being made for the New Shares to be admitted to the
premium segment of the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to
trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities, and
dealings are expected to commence on or around 23 December 2015. The number
of ordinary shares in issue is now 114,531,839.
The total number of voting rights in the Company is now 28,632,959 in respect
of the ordinary shares (one vote for every four shares held).
The above figure (28,632,959) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to
notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, The Bankers
Investment Trust PLC under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
