ALLOTMENT OF SHARE PURCHASE PLAN

Further to the announcement dated 12 September 2013, Bathurst Resources (New
Zealand) Limited (ASX / NZX:  BRL) has completed the Share Purchase Plan
('SPP') raising approximately A$670,000.

The SPP provided existing shareholders the opportunity to subscribe for up to
A$15,000 worth of shares in the Company at $A0.155 per share being the
approximate equivalent to the price of the recent placement to institutional
and other sophisticated investors of NZ$0.18 per share ('Placement').

4,322,627 shares will be issued under the SPP on 16 October 2013.  Dispatch
Date remains as announced as 16 October 2013.  Quotation Date remains as
announced as NZX Main Board 16 October 2013 and ASX 17 October 2013.
