Notice of Share Quotation under Employee Long Term Incentive Scheme
Contact Energy Limited (Contact) advises that it has discontinued its
Employee Long Term Incentive Restricted Share Plan (Restricted Share Plan).
As a consequence, 508,480 ordinary shares, which are currently restricted,
become unrestricted and quoted on the NZSX.
Contact's Employee Long Term Incentive Share Option Scheme (LTI Scheme)
continues to operate.
Participants in the Restricted Share Plan surrendered their entitlements to
the 508,480 previously restricted shares and have been issued Performance
Share Rights of equivalent value under the LTI Scheme, with the same
performance hurdles.
The total number of quoted ordinary shares on issue following the quotation
of these previously restricted shares is 718,670,307.
