ALLOT: FSF: FONTERRA ANNOUNCES COMPLETION OF BONUS ISSUE
Fonterra Co-operative Group Ltd (FCG) has today completed the allotment of
co-operative shares to shareholders under a Bonus Issue.
As advised on the 27th February 2013, one additional Share was issued for
every 40 shares held on 12th April 2013 (the "Record Date'). Holders of units
in the Fonterra Shareholders' Fund (NZX:FSF; ASX:FSF) also received one unit
for every 40 units held on 12th April 2013.
Fractional entitlements to shares or units were disregarded.
For the purposes of Fonterra Shareholders' Market Listing Rule 6.8.1,
Fonterra advised the allotment of the new shares under the Bonus Issue as
follows:
(a) Class of Security and ISIN: Ordinary Shares NZFCGE0001S7
(b) Number issued/acquired: 40,426,703
(c) Issue/Acquisition price: n/a
(d) Payment in Cash: n/a
(e) Amount paid up: Fully paid
(f) Percentage total of class of securities issued: 2.5%
(g) Reason for issue/acquisition: Allotment under a one for 40 bonus issue
(h) Specific authority for issue/acquisition: Board resolution
(i) Any terms or details of the issue/acquisition: The shares will rank
equally in all respects with existing ordinary shares in Fonterra Cooperative
Group Ltd at the date on which they are issued
(j) Total number of securities on issue after issue (excluding treasury
stock): 1,657,807,062
