An interesting update.
They confirm the price rise that I've been posting about on here and advise that it is the strongest almond price in five years. That puts the price at, or just above, the long term average almond price. Nice if that can continue for a while given the weakness in the price since the GFC coinciding with record crops in California.
The crop estimate is crap, it would've been more meaningful if they provided an actual estimate of the expectage size of the crop. It would let investors have a clearer picture of where we are placed.
Still it's good to get communication of where we are at prior to the AGM. Hopefully we can get some meaningful answers at the AGM.
