That is correct, I am in Jakarta presently and as I came from my morning coffee at a coffee shop in the suburbs of Jakarta where I am about the only caucasian to be seen. The mothers were loading the school children into their electric vehicles now readily available for purchase in Jakarta.
In the major populated areas like Jakarta ^ Beijing and others why not. I see more and more electric vehicles on the road here in Jakarta daily. Remember its a smoggy city anyway so reduced vehicle emissions cant be wrong in densely populated cities of the world.
