I doubt that we will need the lithium in the amount it is being spruked. EV's will take a long time to become mainstream and therefore we will not need as much copper as is being pushed.
Copper however is still always needed in lots of industries.

EV sales are tanking now. They can't give them away, especially in de-centralized countries like Oz.
