Actually a sale at 0.004 and a buy back at 0.005 is still within taxable benefit range. Immediate loss?..Perhaps annual financial loss? no way.. quite a good gain actually. Loss value locked in for the FY and a buy back of the same volume, OK for a 25% immediate book loss.. However if you are paying taxes up to 49% the bracket reduction will equate to a considerably different tax outlay.. There is profit in loss.. Just an observation.. Don't know how good it is..
