I agree completely w your assessment of James here. While he's got a bunch of conflicts on how he handles this, potentially negotiating against his new bosses, I suspect he'd be happy to see a decent block of minority standing up as a catalyst to renegotiate upwards if the Independent valuation report also makes the initial offer look low. This is just game theory folks. If they think Retail will be a walkover - that's how this will play out. If not - we create options for things to go our way
