I'm a bit surprised the Fraunhofer institute is so involved they work with ceramics. When I spoke to the Dr., noting the interaction of alumina and
Silicon (Alumino-silicates probably the most common mineral assemblage in nature with Ca or Na substituting in ternary, iron is in the core) he said we don't want them to merge otherwise we have ceramics.
