One of the things mentioned was Altech's intent to invest ~ Euro40M (~USD48m) on the 10K tpa coating plant.
If as you suggested revenues of USD40-65 could be achieved, then the ROI would be rather good ......
We know the coating plant requires a small subset of the “full” HPA plant process equipment and hence should be a fraction of the capital cost of the Johor plant, so that fits in well with the Euro40m estimate
From a previous announcement:
No new specialised equipment will be required, consequently, it is not expected that there will be any material change in the estimated capital cost for the Johor HPA plant from the proposed production of these new products (if they decided to coat at Johor)
This gives me some confinence a Capex of Euro40m is in the ball park.

I also noticed that in the opening of the R&D workspace at Schwarze Pumpe that 'senior management' from the Fraunhofer Institute was in attendance. I think Fraunhofer engineers and scientists with be the people establishing and running the pilot plant for the coating materials.
The Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies is located in Dresden only ~100km away.
The opening of the Saxony R&D site was nearly two months ago, so I would be expecting an update on progress there soon along with an update on the R&D test work progress at the new Perth lab.
