I cannot see this announcement being the justification for the price increase,
Halloysite Nanotubes do fetch a nice premium US$600 -$3000 per tonne. If we are going to be mining our clay for the HPA plant, we may as well mine the higher value HNT and either stockpile the resource or process the material.
