Who knows the reasoning but I don’t think anyone would question that the rise and subsequent manipulation to hold at 12.5 for 5 days looked a bit suss!
Maybe it was because they knew this news was coming and just wanted to have a buffer when the guaranteed sell down after release occured.
The 30 million aborted CR seems to me to indicate they aren’t averse to raising whenever they want....
