One of the things this coming out of the volatility (thrashing) in the Nasdaq which is driving our market on a day-to-day basis is that stock picking, more particularly accurate predictions of earning reporting is vitally important. This is a change from previously where it was all tech up. E.g if you got the earnigns reporting on Apple (up) right you were up 10% plus. If you got PayPal wrong (down 24 %) and Meta (google) indicated tonight (down 24%).
So getting back to ATC is a big bet and I think a number of you particularly M'Dib, Spid 81 (apologies to others I'm bad with remembering names but I'm visualizing avatars) have got it right. When the CEO (Luke Atkins) of ATC asked me did I have a few picks in small caps? I said no only ATC and he was surprised/ shocked. I meant small-cap tech. I have a few gold & copper hopefuls.
My point is with ATC being pre-production tech we're either going to hit the ball out of the park or get bowled and it's likely to gyrate wildly amongst the Wall St volatility and announcements. Fertile ground for rampers (up and down).
