Centrifuge, filtration and calcination equipment shall be supplied by equipment vendors of full scale designs to enable the assessment of operating parameters and sizing scale up calculations.
Think modular everything - start with a standard full scale design which ATC are going to be able to optimize that now & scaling is just replicating the production line you already have perfected.
By going straight to the size of their end equipment means they'll be able to trouble shoot the bugs & optimize throughput - feed rate, time, temp, pressures etc
Lab sized, small scale test equipment behaves differently than the full scale operational gear.
Smart move.
