ATC was the one putting so much emphasis on it, which was to distract how they've fallen far behind on funding (which is not secured).
Getting the equity component is a precedent to drawdown. Longer they struggle to get the mezz/stream signed off can handed over, whilst they spend on the project already, the bigger the hole/risk of an equity raise. Between trumping up patents, pushing head with construction before you get your ducks lined up (can't be patient for a few months), shows that management have their focus more on their egos and need to be first than delivering the best outcomes for shareholders long-term.
