A mid size pharma would come in and perhaps offer 15M upfront but they would take the vast majority of the future sales on 434 and have ownership of 434 for all other indications. They are not here to please SH, they want to make as much $$$.
also, if ath halted at 1.9 folks would have been outraged that the company killed the momentum to 10c.
the dilution is unpleasant and no doubt the broker knew the raise was coming, and their clients traded accordingly, but let's not think a partnership would have been any better.
