3 presentations in a very big meeting including not only neurologists but also all main drug companies, the worldwide press, and investors is important. I guess that there will be over 10000 people taking part in it. There can also be special seminars in which ATH scientists may take part in discussions and tell more about ATH434 in MSA or its possibilities in PD based on previous or ongoing studies such as the ape study and the previous experiments ( Kosman's studies on why ATH434 works but other iron chelators do not etc). It is also possible that Stamler will talk about these in his poster.

Now the best thing is that ATH knows that they have presentations in the meeting and all these different possibilities that AAN gives to ATH. Stamler now has 8 weeks to make ATH434 big news in this meeting. The primate study has a lot of press value, IMO, and it is about PD.

My point above sounded perhaps too pessimistic. The abstracts written in November, have been accepted, and now the design of the posters will start and they will have much more info than was in the abstract. They need to be made so that ATH434 will be known as a future drug for treating MSA and PD despite no news of the phase 2 studies presented. Stamler's poster can be the very big thing "A Novel Inhibitor of α-Synuclein Aggregation", the most important issue in both MSA and PD. In this poster, there will be new things for all of us, IMO.
