Why shouldn't they counter the Aphria sell off with some good news?
As for it being a 'nothing' announcement - any launch of a new product for a company is significant.
From what I've seen, the full spectrum cbd oils available for purchase online in Australia all have explicit mentions that they are for 'non-human' use, and non-therapeutic use. Of course, that doesn't, and isn't preventing people from ordering them to use on themselves, but I'm pretty sure it means no doctor will prescribe these.
Althea's strength is its focus on working within the boundaries of Australia and UK regulations, with the doctors that write the prescriptions. Their full spectrum CBD extract will be what those doctors prescribe.
This certainly is not a 'nothing' announcement.
