Based on the market capital of ALU and the percentage the Tasking group returned to the bottom
line, 2.2%, the sale price looks good to me.
Altium paid AUD$73.5 million for Tasking in 2001, so some may see the sale price not so good
after 19 years. I expect Nick paid too much in the first place but he was trying tojump start his dream.
Nick never really put much into keeping it going for many years. Just took the IP for the FPGA compilers.
It was only in the more recent years it was given a pulse again.
The company doesn't need any distractions, they have plenty on their plate to do. It was the right
thing to sell it off.
Focus on the core PCB and Schematic tools.
