Haha you sound like i was 3yrs ago but i was 40 with the same conclusion. 9-5 my whole life paying bills/ spending money. Chucked it in JAN.
Soon realized its what you do with the income you earn that makes you the money.
Sacrifice novelty items that aren't necessary as well as luxury items helped.

I've even done personal loans/credit cards/interests free credit cards to get to where i needed within a few years. Calculated risks... Not advice either, it was what i was willing to do to break that notion you had to work till retirement...

I've been investing for 10+yrs but only serious the last 3. Lost money in he early days by being naive and not having constant checks.

Always keep an eye on your investment. HC is a great tool for investing advice but be wary as not all are honest, most are though and I've found AJM to be an honest bunch. Keep up to date as often as possible. Google your chosen stocks often.
