ummm, @binwood if you ever watched basketball or other ball sports...
there's a team strategy where the whole team tries to draw fouls out of a specific player of the other team (usually the better playing ones), so they could hopefully get him/her out of the game through penalties.
seems like this is the play here by barnacles to frustrate you enough that you get moderated.
