if they’re patient the price for control looks to be getting cheaper by the month. Certainly nothing material in a business sense that I can see before the next quarterly. Meeting their projections in the next 4C will be a great step forward, but I was hoping for the same this time around and they missed spectacularly (to the extent it almost reeked of dishonesty). I do expect a rebound quite quickly but suspect we’ll touch lows or set new ones beforehand. The closing action has left the stacks looking appalling - perhaps that was intended? Certainly with the contracts in place AJM will ontinue to sneak by if they can keep producing at similar volumes, especially if the cost savings materialise, if they hit the $350/tonne mark our costs per tonne look low compared to peers even after the interest repayments are factored in.
