spygmacor is the gold standard for non invasive central blood pressure management. doctors are lemmings they will follow where there is proven evidence. Even if uscom's product was cheaper it would not be used unless it was significantly cheaper i.e. <1/2 the price or they proved it was better than the sphygmacor which would be hard as nearly all the studies on central blood pressure have been done using the sphygmacor machine.
