I have tried to use ACM and I have found their genuine parts parallel offering very lacking when compared to APG. AMA may use a lot of non genuine parts on their Suncorp work but most other insurers don't. A lot of repairers would not support ACM due to the tie up with Suncorp previously and AMA now.

Heavy is like food in a flat economy it just keeps going and going.

If they sold heavy that would be the biggest own goal ever and it would be the craziest thing you could ever do. It would be worth more than the capital smart business I would think so hopefully they keep that. You have a growing market, limited competition, lots of new immigrants that are inexperienced drivers and high avg repair cost with a way higher margin.

You only have to look at diesel sales to see how trucks are climbing. I have a few friends that work at the truck assembly plant in Kilsyth and they are crazy busy. I have another friend who builds boxes for the delivery trucks for one of the supermarkets and the expansion of his work place is massive.

This all adds volume to the heavy division as the market grows.
