Nice effort. One thing that I will add - regarding volumes. A lot of people have a punt on spec shares and they do have a price limit. They will go for shares say under 5 cents or under 2 cents. Small outlay for a decent wad of shares and (the shot gun approach) they will punt over 20 companies in the hope one will stand up and be counted.
Maybe, in MXC's case, some of the volume is related to that strategy rather than people genuinely interested in MXC itself. Of course, that is impossible to determine in a chart like yours anyway.
Go back to 2017 and 2018, volumes were in the hundreds of millions so the current volumes are quite modest when comparing past activity.
